Found my wing

 I used to think you were so clever

But now I see your true endeavor

Leaving me alone in the rain

Laughing while I endured the pain

Listening to your friend's every story

While I became a forgotten memory

You thought you knew me, inside and out

But now it seems, you have your doubts

And it's okay, I've found my way

I've spread my wings and flown away

Thanks to you, I learned a lesson

To never rely on someone's affection

You think you can just say hello

But the feelings I had, no longer glow

It's alright, I've found my stride

The universe has given me wings to ride

So thank you, for the experience

It's made me stronger, with resilience

I no longer need you in my life

For I have found my inner light

I've found my way, thanks to it all

With my back straight, I now stand tall

So thank you once again, for everything

I am now free, with the universe's wing.
