Perfection eyes

 In this world of constant comparison

We often seek the path of perfection

Striving for the flawless facade

Forgetting our true essence, oh how odd

We chase after the unattainable dream

Thinking that's where happiness gleams

Picking at our flaws, trying to hide

But deep inside, we're perfect and full of pride

Perfection, such an elusive goal

Why do we let it consume our soul?

Forgetting that beauty lies within

We're already perfect, let our hearts begin

We compare and criticize

But it's our differences that make us wise

No two souls are ever the same

We're unique, and that's what we should proclaim

The media feeds us images of perfection

But it's just a mirage, a mere reflection

Of what society deems as ideal

But our true selves, that's what we should feel

For perfection lies not in our looks

But in the way we love, the way we cook

In our kindness, in our flaws

That's what makes us perfect, just because

So let's embrace our imperfections

And rid ourselves of society's expectations

For we're already perfect, just the way we are

A beautiful human, a shining star

Let's break free from this illusion

And embrace our unique composition

For perfection lies not in the external

But in our soul, that's truly eternal.
