Every night I look up to the sky

And see the moon shining bright

But it’s not just a glowing orb to me

It holds memories of days gone by

Of laughter and love, of tears and sorrow

Of times that I’ll always treasure

The moon is a reminder of my past

And it fills my heart with pleasure


When I see the moon, I see memories

Of moments that will stay with me

Of people I’ve loved, and places I’ve been

The moon is my personal memory lane, you see

And as it shines above, I feel so blessed

To have these memories to hold on to

When I see the moon, I see my past

In all its beauty and truth


In the morning, I wake up to the sun

And it’s a symbol of a brand new day

But it’s more than just a source of light

It’s a promise of what’s yet to come

The sun is like a crystal ball

Showing me glimpses of my future

It’s a reminder to keep moving on

And to never lose sight of my dreams for sure

A chance to make my dreams come true
